Community-Based Research Centre (CBRC) recently wrapped up Summit 2020, an annual knowledge exchange and capacity building national conference on gay, bi, trans, Two-Spirit, and queer men’s (GBT2Q) health. This webinar will share key highlights from the first-ever virtual Summit, which brought together service providers, researchers, activists, and community members from across Canada on November 4-6 around the theme of Resistance and Responsibility.
Join us as we recap the diverse speakers and sessions at Summit 2020, which included panels, posters, and workshops on research and interventions to strengthen equity and inclusion within our health systems and communities in the face of structural racism, the COVID-19 pandemic, and other health and social disparities impacting queer and trans communities. We will also share reflections on our experience and learning as a result of moving Summit into a virtual format, including the many challenges and opportunities with the new organizing approach.
