Webinar: Fighting stigma and offering support for people who use meth

Date: Thursday June 18, 2020

Time: 10 AM, Pacific time

Crystal meth is a commonly used drug in BC, so HIV, hep C and harm reduction organizations and advocates may well work with people using meth. What do we need to know about crystal meth’s affects on health and spirit to best support people using it? This webinar will look at the use patterns for meth over the past few years in BC’s Interior. It will contain info on fighting meth stigma, the impact on health and social services, and things people all over BC might consider in providing harm reduction information and support. Jessica Bridgeman and Shane Dallyn will share and reflect.

Suggested audiences:

  • people who use drugs and members of their communities
  • people working in and for harm reduction
  • social service and healthcare providers
  • people working in policy and public health

We’ve reached our registration limit. Watch for the webinar on-demand towards the end of June.
