Webinar: HIV and COVID-19: Public health, clinical and frontline community perspectives

Date: April 2, 2020

Time: 10 AM Pacific

The novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic is a global health emergency. In Canada, the HIV sector is concerned with how COVID-19 will affect people living with HIV and affected communities. We are also concerned about how to effectively sustain a response to HIV during a period of profound disruption to society, the economy and the health system.

This interactive webinar will provide a forum for clinical, community and research leaders from across the country to discuss these ideas and concerns. We will hear from a panel of HIV experts on clinical, public health and community considerations for those working with key populations affected by HIV.
