We are accepting applications to attend the 5th Educators’ Forum. Community-based harm reduction workers and educators are encouraged to apply. Please note that this opportunity is open to PAN member groups and/or people living in BC.
As part of our training and leadership events, PAN produces the Educators’ Forum: Promoting Effective STBBI, HIV, Hepatitis C and Harm Reduction Education with Indigenous People of BC in partnership with the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA). Additional partners include CATIE, Vancouver Coastal Health, and YouthCO/ Yúusnewas. The aim of the gathering is the promotion of effective STBBI, HIV, Hepatitis C and harm reduction education with community educators.
The Educators’ Forum gives participants skills and cultural competence in a variety of topics. This is a participatory event to enrich community knowledge and connection, and it is expected that participants who attend will come prepared to share about their work with other attendees. We are currently finalizing this year’s program and you can view the draft program here.
