YouthCo seeks a part-time Office Coordinator (20 hours per week).
YouthCO reduces the impact of HIV and hepatitis C stigma on the youth of British Columbia through peer support, education
and meaningful community engagement. We also work to end the stigma around sex and drug use related to HIV and hepatitis C. Within YouthCO, we have four peer-led program areas: Mpowerment, Peer Education, Poz Programs, and Yúusnewas. This is a contract position starting mid October 2019, ending March 31, 2020. While we do not have secured funding for this position past March 31, 2020 at this time, it is our intent to continue this position beyond March 2020.
What does the Office Coordinator do?
The Office Coordinator supports the day-to-day administrative aspects of YouthCO’s mission: reducing HIV and Hep C stigma experienced by youth across British Columbia. This Coordinator works independently, with support from the Executive Director, and has four key areas of responsibility: accounts payable and receivable (50%), coordinating administrative and human resource systems at YouthCO (25%) reception duties (15%), and ensuring YouthCO’s facilities are program ready (10%).
