Charities Information Session in Vancouver

The Charities Directorate at the Canada Revenue Agency is pleased to announce the return of our free in-person charities information sessions.

The information sessions will cover a variety of topics related to maintaining a charity’s registered status, and the responsibilities and legal obligations associated with operating a registered charity. These sessions will inform registered charities about the available educational tools and resources they need to fulfil their obligations. They will also include a question and answer period.

Here are some specific topics that we will cover:

  • Receiving gifts and issuing receipts
  • Gifting to qualified donees
  • Keeping books and records
  • Our new educational products and digital services

We wanted to let you know that we will be coming to Vancouver to host an information session.


The session in Vancouver will be taking place on:


June 17, 2019 at 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (in English)
