We provided an update at the end of June indicating that the results of the review will be shared in late summer. We are now anticipating that the results will be communicated toward the end of September 2016.
As we indicated earlier, the LOI review process was extensive, involving representatives from PHAC, provincial and territorial government officials, people living with HIV and people living with or affected by hepatitis C, and subject matter experts from across Canada. We have required the additional time to ensure that all considerations are taken into account in the final decisions. We also want to ensure that we are providing constructive feedback to all applicants, regardless of the decision on their application.
We remain committed to providing the necessary time for the successful applicants to complete their full proposals and will be adjusting our timelines accordingly for subsequent steps in the CAF process. With their decision letters, successful applicants will receive the link to the online portal where full proposals will be completed. Applicants will be given up to 8 weeks to complete the full proposals.
Thank you for your continued interest in the Community Action Fund and for your patience with these LOI results. Should you have further questions, please direct them to: [email protected].
