Job Posting – Health Initiative for Men: Knowledge Translation Manager

HIMHealth Initiative for Men is currently recruiting for the position of Knowledge Translation Manager.

Within the context of a community-centered care model, in accordance with standards of professional practice, and the vision and values of HIM, the Knowledge Translation Manager is responsible for providing leadership in the planning and implementation of our community-level sexual health promotion program. The Knowledge Translation Manager works under the direction of the Executive Director and as part of the staff and volunteer team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the planning and implementation of a community-level Knowledge Translation and Sexual Health Promotion service for gay men, including the development of targeted and tailored campaigns and resources, as well as ongoing health promotion tools and programs.
  • Manage the Knowledge Translation and Sexual Health Promotion services budget, including researching and choosing suppliers & facilities, reviewing & approving invoices, and developing & implementing cost-effective strategies.
  • Manage daily activities of the service and provide leadership in the planning and implementation of innovative and creative approaches for delivery of a high quality and efficient Knowledge Translation and Sexual Health Promotion service for gay men; continuously evaluate services to ensure program/service needs are met and liaise with key stakeholders in the achievement of program goals and objectives.
