The new web and mobile app is free and available on desktop, laptop, mobile, and tablet devices. Interested users can sign-up online, or download the app from the App Store or from Google Play. It is available both in Canada and the US.
The hep C app provides self-care tools for people living with hep C to help them manage it and to prepare for treatment. It offers tools to do things like document lab tests, manage daily diet and nutrition, and track feelings and emotions.
App users can also call the Help-4-Hep hotline (877-435-7443) directly from the app and discuss their condition with a counsellor.
The new app aims to support more individuals living with hep C who are waiting for treatment.
