Have a Say in How Your Personal Health Information is Shared and Protected!
In British Columbia, there are different acts and guidelines protecting the personal health information of patients. Different laws and guidelines are often confusing both to the public and the health providers. The Ministry of Health is currently developing a new outline for how personal information will be shared in the future.
The Ministry of Health wants to hear from you – youth, youth service providers and parents / guardians of youth and children. Your input will help the Ministry build a better system for the health information storing, sharing and protection. If you have any questions about the project, you can direct them to [email protected], a facilitator for the project’s engagement.
