National Aboriginal AIDS Awareness Week 2012: Getting to Zero

Red Road HIV/AIDS Network and Canadian Aboriginal AIDS Network will partner to host event on December 5-6, 2012 in Victoria, BC.

Location: Vancouver Island Ballroom, Hotel Grand Pacific, 463 Belleville Street Victoria, BC
Theme: Celebrating Aboriginal Women and Culture
Time: 9am – 4pm

Red Road HIV/AIDS Network is mobilizing community to be part of this event which will have a focus on Aboriginal women. Activities will include speakers from the local, regional and national levels that will speak to Aboriginal women’s issues and share some highlights. The event will also feature traditional ceremonies, performances. As a special presentation the local organizers have invited the Visioning Health Arts and Positive Aboriginal Women exhibit.

This session is free to attend.

(Space is limited to 50 participants)

Registration is required and is based on a first come first serve basis.
