CATIE/PAN 2010 Pacific Educational Conference & PAN AGM/PHA Forum – October 5-7, 2010

By now your organization should have received an email directly from Joseph van Veen at CATIE with registration information about the PAN/CATIE conference in October.  The contents of that email follow my brief email.

You probably noticed that to register your two official PAN delegates that you need a special ID number to complete the online registration.  The online registration system that’s being used is different from the system that PAN uses.  To complete your registration you will need an ID code.  If you did not receive the email from Joseph van Veen please let me know so that an email can be re-sent with the ID codes.

CATIE is pleased to announce that the 2010 Pacific Educational Conference (PEC 2010) will be co-hosted by the Pacific AIDS Network (PAN), at the Vancouver Airport Marriott Hotel in Richmond, British Columbia on October 6-7, 2010.  The PAN PHA Forum, ED summit and Annual General Meeting will be held on October 5, 2010.

Building on the success of the 2009 Pacific Educational Conference, CATIE is working with PAN and a regional planning committee to draw on local expertise to tailor the conference program to specific regional needs.

Financial Support for PAN Member Agencies

CATIE has made a commitment to PAN to financially support network member organizations in good standing to send two designated delegates to PEC 2010.

We strongly encourage that organizations register at least one person living with HIV or hepatitis C, and at least one person with decision-making responsibility for HIV- or hepatitis C-related programming.

One of these delegates must be your agency’s PAN voting representative.

These twoDesignated Delegates must register with this link

http://event.catie.ca/pec_2010/designate.php?conf=1

Each of your designated delegates will need one of these two unique ID Numbers assigned to your agency to register.

Each ID number may be used only once.
