Chee Mamuk, BCCDC – Around the Kitchen Table training applications now available

atktCalling all women who are Community Workers, Leaders, Role Models or are interested in making a difference.

Chee Mamuk, Aboriginal Program, BC Centre for Disease Control invites your community to submit an application to ATKT to participate in a 4-day training. All participant travel and accommodation are provided.  Aboriginal communities and organizations both on and off reserve may apply.

Application Deadline – Dec 10, 2015. 6 Teams will be selected by Jan 7th, 2016

Training Dates February 23-26, 2016, Vancouver BC.

ATKT is a fun, successful, traditional model for HIV, Hepatitis and sexual health education that uses humour and focuses on training teams of women in Aboriginal communities to run ATKT sessions in their communities.
