CBRC – Resist Stigma $1,000 Grants—Call for Submissions

CBRC LogoStigma is a strong social power that keeps people out. It is a driver of the HIV epidemic and a key social determinant of health for young gay and bisexual men. It manifests in many ways, such as HIV stigma, homophobia, racism, classism, transphobia, and ageism. These forms of stigma often intersect and work together to push people further out in the margins. In young gay and bisexual men, the experience of stigma has effects on their lives, their opportunities, and their health.

Resist Stigma will empower young GBTQ2S guys by helping them recognize and respond to stigma in their own lives and communities. The project will provide small grants of up to $1000 to individuals or organizations with powerful ideas on how to Resist Stigma.

For more information about how to apply for funding, check out the call for submissions.
